Rick Ross Reveals His Dream Music Collaboration — And the Names Are Legendary

American rapper Rick Ross has shared details about his ultimate dream music collaboration, and the list includes some of the most iconic names in global music history.

The Maybach Music boss recently spoke about the idea during a livestream interview, where he revealed that his perfect collaboration would bring together Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley, Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, and Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.

According to Ross, a record featuring such powerful musical influences would be nothing short of historic.

“If I had a dream collaboration right now, it would be Rick Ross, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti and Burna Boy,” he said during the livestream. “Imagine such a record. To me, that’s king-level. That’s next level.”

The rapper explained that bringing together artists from different generations and cultures would create a timeless sound that blends reggae, Afrobeat, and modern Afrobeats with hip-hop.

Ross didn’t stop there. He also mentioned that if he had complete creative freedom, he would love to include legendary Nigerian-British singer Sade Adu on the track.

However, he admitted that convincing the famously private singer to collaborate might be difficult.

“I am the boss but I don’t know if I could get Sade to collaborate with me. I will put that on the wish list,” Ross said. “I love Sade. Salute queen.”

While the collaboration remains purely hypothetical for now, fans can only imagine the magic that could happen if artists of such legendary status ever came together on one record. A fusion of reggae, Afrobeat, Afrobeats, and hip-hop would undoubtedly create a track for the ages.
