Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has achieved another historic milestone, becoming the first African artist to gross over $1 million from a single concert in Oceania.
The record was set during the Sydney stop of his “No Sign Of Weakness” tour, which took place on October 18, 2025, at the iconic Qudos Bank Arena. The concert generated an impressive $1.117 million in revenue, marking a major moment for African music on the global stage.
Tour Sets New Record in Oceania
According to global tour monitoring platform Touring Data, the “No Sign Of Weakness” tour also set another major record. It became the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history, earning a total of $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
The data revealed that the Australian leg of the tour sold 30,946 tickets across the four concerts, with an average ticket price of $100.94. Each show generated an average revenue of $772,791, highlighting the strong demand for Burna Boy’s performances in the region.
A Global Tour Across Three Continents
Burna Boy’s “No Sign Of Weakness” tour spanned 20 shows across three continents, including North America, Europe, and Oceania. The tour further cemented the Afrobeats star’s reputation as one of the most influential global performers from Africa.
With this achievement, Burna Boy has now become the first African artist in history to gross over $1 million from a single concert across three different continents, proving once again that Afrobeats continues to expand its global reach.
