Nigerian Afrobeats star, Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has shared his frustration about being single, revealing that it’s starting to feel boring.
Taking to his Snapchat page, the Boy Alone crooner wrote:
“Yeah, I got no girls. It has become a boring activity of late.”
The comment has sparked conversations online, especially since Omah Lay recently admitted that his depression had resurfaced. While he didn’t link his emotional struggles to his relationship status, fans have been speculating about whether loneliness might be playing a role.
This isn’t the first time Omah Lay has opened up about his love life. In a 2023 interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, he revealed that his biggest regret was dating one of his ex-girlfriends, identified simply as Bright. He even confessed that if given the chance, he would go back in time to undo that relationship.
Since rising to fame, the Understand hitmaker has kept his personal life mostly private. However, he has been candid about the toll fame has taken on his mental health, admitting that his rapid rise in the music industry left him feeling “unstable.”
Despite the challenges, Omah Lay continues to channel his emotions into his music, resonating deeply with fans who relate to his vulnerability and honesty.
