Burna Boy’s highly anticipated “No Sign of Weakness” U.S. tour has hit a major setback as his Minneapolis performance, scheduled for November 28, 2025, at The Armory, was abruptly cancelled after fans failed to purchase tickets.
Ticketmaster confirmed the last-minute cancellation on Thursday, just hours before the show. The update also revealed that another tour stop his December 1, 2025 concert in Chicago has similarly been pulled from the schedule.
Although the tour organizers did not offer a detailed explanation, the cancellations come at a tense moment for the Grammy-winning artist. Burna Boy has been under heavy public criticism after a viral incident in Colorado where he confronted a couple he claimed were sleeping during his performance.
The controversy escalated when Burna Boy addressed the matter during an Instagram Live session, bluntly stating that he only wants “supporters who buy his tickets, not fans.” This comment fueled further backlash, especially after reports emerged that the woman who appeared to be sleeping was actually grieving a recent personal loss.
On Friday morning, Burna Boy confirmed the cancellations himself by sharing a Ticketmaster link on his Instagram Story, showing both concerts marked as cancelled.
The situation has sparked conversations across social media about artist-fan relationships, public image, and the growing impact of controversies on ticket sales.
