Davido latest track "Pere" is considered one of the top songs from the young rich
artiste, this year and the singer publicly acknowledged and credited his
friend and colleague,
Dammy Krane for ‘co-writing’ the hook of the song with him.
However, an unexpected controversy about the origin of the
song has now risen from an unlikely source. A producer named, HOD claims
to have produced the original version of the
Pere song for
Dammy Krane in 2015 and he aims to take official credit for making the
beat, as against DJ Mustard who is believed to be the producer of the song.
He went on social media to call out the
principal parties involved in the process of commercialization of the
song including Dammy Krane, Davido and
Sony Music. He advanced to back his accusation with proof.
