"I grew up listening to high life tunes through my mum as a child and Its part of my musical influences" Those are there words of Mr. 2kay after dropping off this tune off his recent EP.

 Ladder is a very narrative song. Mr 2Kay gives life advice using his unique storytelling style.  It is an infectious High life tune that talks about the realities of life. The song tells different stories highlighting the need for one to never forget his/her humble beginnings.
